definition: gift of gab

I kept hearing rappers refer to this "gift of gab" and i wanted to further analyze its origin.

In short, the gift of gab is a person's "great eloquence or skill at flattery."

Now i stumbled upon something interesting in my research of this so called, "gift of gab."

&& I found out that in Cork, Ireland there is a castle called Blarney Castle with a block of blue stone built into the walls.

&& legend has it that kissing the stone gives you the "gift of gab"

also, Gift of Gab is a rapper, with an upcoming album called Escape 2 Mars
